Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Warren, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The food is good, but if you order carry out, they incompetently Package it. When I got it, there was sauce all over the container my other food items and half the sauce was held inside the bag that the Styrofoam container was in. They need to improve their carryout containers.

Thai Star is a small and quaint spot with a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere. While the décor feels a bit outdated, it adds to the charm of an established local restaurant that focuses on what truly matters — good food at reasonable prices. Each meal comes with a spring roll and soup, both of which were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Pad Cashew with added water chestnuts, and it was incredible — I’ve been craving it ever since. My partner had the Pad Prik with shrimp, which was also great, though I’d recommend trying it with beef instead for a richer flavor. The service was decent, though not particularly warm, but the quality and taste of the food more than made up for it. Overall, Thai Star is a great date spot and a perfect choice for anyone who values authentic, flavorful Thai food over fancy presentation.

Food was good! Yummy actually.😋 HUGE servings, compared to other food places this place is really affordable. You even get soup and spring roll in all main dishes. My tummy is happy☺️ I was even tempted to get a take out even though I'm so stuffed already.😅Definitely recommended👍🏻

Decent Thai food for cheap. Their crab rangoons are stuffed and really cheap. You get your money worth it with amount of food. Their spicy levels are not as spicy but they do have additional chili paste and crushed chilli. But great place. Fast service.
